We believe…

1. There is only one true God who created everything. He is in control, and cares for us and the world. God shows us He exists through nature, our conscience, and tells us about Himself in the Bible. He has revealed Himself as three separate but equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. The Bible is the written Word of God. It’s main purpose is to tell us that we are saved from our sin and eternal death by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It tells us all we need to know about God’s love and His promised gifts to us.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)

3. There is only one true faith. Life with God is only possible by His grace because no one is perfect. Only through faith in Jesus, true God and true man, can we receive the forgiveness and eternal life. Jesus lived a perfect life, suffered and died on the cross and rose from the dead for us.  He provided the only way for us to live with God forever. Faith is a gift of God worked in us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

4. All who admit to their sin and believe in Jesus as their One and only Saviour are counted holy in God’s eyes and receive eternal life.

“God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17 (ESV)
